His name is Pie. Nothing is better than pie.
Strikeouts are boring. Besides that, they're fascist. Not boring: Emmanuel Burriss. Not fascist: SF Dugout

Re: OT: Why Felix Pie is better than the iPhone
Until they let you download music directly to your "phone/pda/mp3player" I'll pass. Plus the "Jesus Phone" is a little pricey plus the storage is a little low. There are rumors of a 80GB model in the works.....

Re: OT: Why Felix Pie is better than the iPhone
The point about the contract is spot on -- plus, Felix doesn't lock you into proprietary DRM that prevents you from playing him wherever you want.

He's also faster.  The iPhone only connects to the Net via the sucky EDGE network, not 3G.  (Yes, it does WiFi, but I suspect iPhoners on-the-go will find out they're not in hotspot range as often as they think.)

Finally, Cubs devotees are just so much less annoying than the Mac culties.

Agreed.

The iPhone is an abomination.

I'm way more psyched about the other Steve Jobs related project coming out tomorrow: Ratatouille.

Re: OT: Why Felix Pie is better than the iPhone
Ratatouille is being given four stars by everybody. I'm taking my son tomorrow. Most of these kiddie movies lately have sucked, so this one sound promising. Maybe I won't have to doze my way through it. On another note, does this I phone connect to the internet and enable you to get sound like a regular computer?? Could you watch a game at mlb.com??  If not, I'll keep the phone I have and wait for a phone that really delivers true internet.

Re: OT: Why Felix Pie is better than the iPhone
Connect to the internet, yes.  Get video or watch games from mlb.com no, because mlb.com requires Windows Media Player and Flash, which are not on the iPhone.
