So I get home lastnight, long day at work, just want to relax. Come 10:15 (stupid east coast), I turn on the game, and within 5 min., well, rough first inning by Morris...

And my cat just died, so I'm in a pessemistic move. I see 3 runs, which is 3 more than the giants have scored in the last xyz innings, and I just gave up. Turned it right off.

AND THEY WIN!

I must say I'm beyond ecstatic, since I would be anyway for a win. But why I'm really happy (or maybe should just get more bitter) is that they showed me what happens when I throw in the towel too early.

Does this mean I'll be watching them lose again? Probably. But did they re-ignite the burner for me? Oh yeah.
