Sorry to keep spamming with suggestions for NY outings. My friend and I are planning to find a bar to watch the game tomorrow night, and we both thought it would be more fun if we had a group of Lincecomrades. Anyone want to join and/or suggest a good venue?

If you had anyplace a bit smaller than the ESPNZone in mind, perhaps in the West Village, Union Square or Williamsburg areas post a reply. Wifey and I were thinking about going someplace (no idea where).

Yeah, definitely not interested in ESPN zone. I have a handful of places in mind and will post my plans tomorrow afternoon in case you (or anyone else) want to come meet up with us.

there used to be a bar on the upper east side in the 80,s called the polo grounds. Lots of giant stuff on walls.

Looks like we're leaning toward Stout, on 33rd between 7th and B'way. I watched some World Cup games there last summer, so I can say for sure that it's good for TV viewing. Kind of big and soulless, but not too objectionable otherwise. Great beer list.

GAH! I've been pushing for an MCC in NYC outing forever but I happen to be at my parents house in SF right now (went to game yesterday; awesome). If anyone wants to do a LIncecum round 2 or something next week or anytime after I'll be there. I got a spot I go to at 25th & 3rd; the bartenders are super cool and will always throw the giants game on (this is more applicable for extra innings games). We had one small Mcc gathering there last year and I'd love to do another.
