Yep, that was great. I can literally see David Byrne slapping himself in the head, the same way I would slap Sabean in the head if he sent Tim back to Fresno. It's obviously not happening though. Bochy said something about "talking" to Ortiz before he joins the team again next week. I would think they will ease the pain a little by giving him a prominent role in the bullpen though, not just long relief. They may even make him the eighth inning guy. Sorry Brad.
