So I just went to my first non-giants opening day ever, Nationals vs. Mariners. The D-train looked pretty good, and so did R. Zimmerman...
But it ended 9-2. It was 5-1 or so by the third. I have to give it to Nationals fans for almost filling RFK, but god it was disheartening. Free hat was nice, though.
The point? Atleast the giants have some hope. The Nats are like a glorified AAA team.
Now here's hoping I can catch a game when I come back to SF this weekend...
