Ken Rosenthal article about Bonds? No WAY!?

http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/6615638

I'm not a huge fan of Rosenthal, but this article is fairly reasonable - he's at least willing to point out that Bonds is pretty much the poster boy of the steroid issue despite the fact that there's really no way of knowing how many other players used performance-enhancing substances, and still ARE using them.

At least it's a far cry from a typical Dayn Perry article, which would just be 7 paragraphs condemning Bonds and anyone who doesn't think he should be strung up to eternal hellfire...

What does it say about the way your typical media member writes about Bonds that an article that describes him as the leader of MLB's "freak show" is reasonable?? No offense intended, but I have had my fill of negative Bonds' stories and preseason prognosticators. Thank God the latter go away as of Sunday evening. I guess we're stuck with the former as long as Bonds is a Giant.

Re: Ken Rosenthal article about Bonds? No WAY!?
and who is responsible for making Bonds, instead of McGwire or Palmeiro the "poster boy" for the roids era? Its the friggin' anti-Bonds media! Maybe if they'd stop writing columns annointing Bonds the so called "poster boy" he wouldn't be considered the so called "poster boy."

These assholes write these columns making these proclamations over and over again and then sit back and once again announce, that low and behold, Bonds is some sort of poster boy for the roids era as if they had nothing to do with the use of that term. they're just "objecive observers."

Yeah, right. Bonds is the poster boy for awesome fucking baseball playing. there. write about that.

We'd be pretty good if we didn't suck so bad.

Re: Ken Rosenthal article about Bonds? No WAY!?
Er...no. He's the poster boy because he's been the most successful of all of them, he's going after the most prestigious record in sports, and he demands a lot of attention. McGuire and Palmeiro were much too quiet, and now don't get enough exposure to become poster boys.

YA WAY!
This world you take to be 'the' world will die, and descend into Hell, and all history after that will belong properly to the history of Hell.
