Not that I'm going to start crying about SI's rankings (look at where they put Detroit last year) but the major power problem is, well, a problem. Which brings me to Linden. I'm not Mr. Stats, but it seems like Linden has the best chance of being a surprise, and is our best chance at getting some extra power in the lineup. We've all talked about his minors numbers, and while nobody is expecting that to continue, I don't think anyone is expecting him to hit .168 or whatever he's hit in the majors. Based on nothing but hope I don't think 20-25 homers is too much to ask, especially if he gets to play. So... my question is, who do you guys think will (or has to be) the biggest (non-pitching) surprise. I'm going with Linden. Help me Todd Linden, you're our only hope.
