I love that on the baseball page, the caption  is "Finley still defying the odds." Er, what? He's 42 years old and he hits like he's 52. He's defying the odds because he got a minor league contract for a last place team? Because last year he was traded for Edgardo Alfonzo in a straight salary dump? Why are people still taking him seriously? No mention, of course, of his 78 OPS (!) over the past two years.

That guy is my least favorite thing ever.

"Finley's Alley"? Groan, barf, cough. If that section of right-center is named after anyone, it's Doug Mirabelli. "Finley's Alley"? Please. More like Finley's skid mark.

Finley still regards himself as a 500 at-bat guy, even if lots of scouts and talent evaluators disagree.

For "lots of scouts and talent evaluators", read "everyone with a shred of objectivity" and that sentence will be more accurate.
