I know some of you may already be in the various leagues created right here at McCovey Chronicles, but lately I've been wanting to do something different-ish.

The idea is to choose a Major League team, and to have it act as your fantasy team throughout the course of a season.  The sixteeen categories (8x8) are structured to benefit teams based on a lot of different categories.  It's a 14 team league, but I can expand it if more people are interested.  It's an offline draft, meaning you submit to me the players you want to be on your team's roster, as you won't have the full 25 man squad.  

As for free agents leftovers with big names, it's going to be based on an honors system--you don't pick up big free agents (i.e. someone doesnt choose the Cards, and Albert Pujols is a FA).  There is a limit of 5 trades per team, and if your interested in finding out more specifics, check it out for yourself.  League ID# is 208846, and password is sim.

As the commish, I've selected my team to be the Minnesota Twins. In fairness to everyone here at Mcc, I move that the Giants cannot be selected.  Sorry guys.  Once you join we can talk about roster selection and such.  Until then, hope to see you there.
