Sweet. I was thinking of working tonight, but not anymore!
My VORP is higher than Merkin's VORP.

Ah, Spring...Time to Set Priorities.
I was thinking of working this year, but there are just too many televised games on FSN.

i have a good feeling
that we'll see rich aurilia go 4 for 4 with a HR and make 2-3 sparkling defensive plays.  He's just that good.
2002? I'm over it. But I'll never be over Rich Aurilia.

Re: i have a good feeling
Merkin, sitting somewhere with his arm in a sling, will drift off to sleep and dream of striking out 27 hitters in a row for a perfect game, followed by outdrinking Aurilia in a bar and saving a girl from being attacked by wolves.
My VORP is higher than Merkin's VORP.

I'll watch it, because I don't get the VS. channel on my shitty basic cable.  If I could, I'd much, much rather watch the Sharks game, given that they're winding down their season and their game is actually very important.  Oh well, hopefully it will be more entertaining than Spring Training Games usually are.

Kuip said on the radio this morning that there probably would be no Bonds in the lineup tonight.
We'd be pretty good if we didn't suck so bad.

Re: Giants/A's on FSN tonite
He's played four days in a row so that makes sense. In retrospect, he should have sat yesterday given that today's game will be televised and won't feature Barry's latest nemesis: the sun.

If I wasn't hanging onto a passing grade by a thread thinner than a pubic hair I'd skip class tonight to watch the game. Alas. Stupid CSU and their stupid science requirements.

Ah, the passing grade.  Such a wily and elusive creature this time of year.  Good luck.
