First, an apology. Im a bit of a homer, I root harder for the local guys than the other guys...one of the reasons for my unhealthy love for Kevin Frandsen.

The top prospect out of San Francisco is LHP Aaron Poreda and he was recently listed as #42 on BA's Junior fab 50 list. A starter for the don's he has had nice overall ERA's the last two years but a mediocre strike out rate last year.

My question is, what kind of pick should the Giants spend on Poreda and what kind of ceiling does everyone think he has?
