Already the Mariners have offered four years at $11 million per season (for Hideki Kuroda), and Arizona, San Francisco, the New York Mets, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs covet the 32-year-old.
I can't think of a worse fit for the Giants than Shawn Green. I can't think of a worse strategy for the Giants than to outbid other teams for starting pitching.
...the interest in (Shawn) Green is limited to four teams, including the Giants.

As far as the Giants being a possible suitor, GM Brian Sabean has told people he's not interested in bringing in any more veteran players to fill holes.
