I used to work at a newspaper where the editor would do his predictions each year. A fun but useless exercise.
Here's mine (wildly optimistic, I know): Dave Roberts starts in left field for the Giants. Keeps his average up and steals a ton of bases. But Nate shows signs of promise. Roberts is moved at the trade deadline and serves as a defensive replacement/pinch hitter for the Cubs. We get nothing back, but that wasn't the point now was it?
