Threets=control?
From rotoworld about Erik Threets winter ball play:
Erick Threets - LHP Giants1-2, 1.69 ERA, 15 H, 20/8 K/BB in 21 1/3 IP
Threets could overtake Steve Kline or Jack Taschner for a bullpen spot in spring training if his command holds up. He walked 35 in 54 2/3 innings for Triple-A Fresno last season.
It would be great if he has finally turned the corner and really cut down on the walks.

Whatever
I will say that him not being Jack Tascher is a a plus, though.

only 75 batters faced and 10+% BB rate..
Age BB/PA K/PA BABIP GB%
23 AA 16% 18% .342
24 AAA 16% 18% .266 58%
25 AAA 15% 17% .275 55%
25 Wint 11% 24% .229 64%
An 11% BB/PA is adequate at best, and a .200s BABIP screams 'luck', but a 65% groundball rate is quite nice, as is a 25% strikeout rate.
Never discount a lefty reliever, but I'll be excited when he cuts his walks another 5%.
