With all the negative vibes on the board recently I thought it'd be nice to have a redux of those threads that always pop up around Thanksgiving: "What are you thankful/happy for?" Get some good juju flowing.

Mine is a completely unncessary thread, of course, but I felt it might provide some spiritual and mental catharsis before the Sabean-trades-Lincecum storm that I'm afraid is coming, as well as provide some respite from all the rumors going around until something actually does happen.

Without further ado, I'm thankful for:

My Superwonderful Cain T-shirt, which arrived here in Singapore last night. My wife, who's not a Giants fan and couldn't tell Matt Cain from Barry Bonds, took one look at it and said it was one of the most superwonderful T-shirts she'd ever seen. (I think this gives me the green light to get another one of Natto's creations.) And if you haven't already done so, I'd suggest you head over to Natto's site http://natto-chan.livejournal.com/125681.html
and pick out a design you like. His art is without peer, but the shirts themselves are light and comfortable and fit wonderfully. Happiness in a T-shirt.

My Cain Superwonderful shirt is pretty awesome. I'm getting Randy Winn's little bro one for Christmas with the hopes that Cain himself might catch a glimpse of Natto's work.

Me? I'm superwonderfully thankful for that night a little less than a year ago when I went out on the town with Matt Cain and we did a choreographed dance together.

Luckily it was videotaped! Link!

As you can see, I couldn't contain my joy. Matt was his usual stoic self, but inside he was bubbling with happy.

Well, I don't know about humanity. What I do know is that Matt Cain's body was rocking it that night. I was a little frumpy, but not self-conscious about it because of the booze.

She knows Bonds, but until she goes to a few Giants games she won't be able to recognize many of the other players. This will change, of course.

Glad you're digging it. I got one for myself too - using money earned from the t-shirt sales. CRAZY! Hopefully by New Year's, there will be a Lincecum one to accompany it.

I've thought about posting pics of mine. The yellow one is my pride and joy of printed T's right now, weird coloring quirks and all. The only problem with pics is I've been fatter than usual lately and the pics I have of that T are gut-tastic....
