Chill It

I like the part when the author says Aurilia still has a few good years in him.

Nicely done!

Re: Chill It
"Wife of Giants first baseman has her first hit"

I'd hit it.

Re: Chill It
Hmmm... I don't think the puntastic repetition of the word "hit" really popped the way I thought it was going to. I should have thought harder about my synactical rhythm....

Re: Chill It
Might have to check this out.
Democracy is lovely but baseball is more mature. BVCE supports Manny Burriss and SF Dugout.

I'd weigh in, but this kind of thread...

Re: Chill It
Of the many things the world does not need, one of the big ones is
a faithful yet modern and more tranquil reading of one of Raquel's favorite 1970s radio hits, "Dream Weaver"

Gah. Now I have to forget that song all over again.

SJ Giants, 2007 Cal League champs! Couldn't have done it without the All-Father.

Re: Chill It
FOX is notorious for playing corny songs during in-game montages and and informational graphic displays.

Durning a Niner game a few years back, some FOX announcer was describing the various injuries that 49er tight end Jed Weaver had sustained in his career.  During the whole discussion "Dream Weaver" played softly in the background.  It was silly.

If that weren't enough, they used the track again during a Jeff Weaver informational piece a few years later.

Vizquel leads by a higher level of example. --BS (Brian Sabean)

Oooh!
During the 2006 postseason, when John Maine was pitching well one game for the Mets in a game where they faced elimination, FOX played "I'm Waiting For The Man"

John Maine will always be a drug dealer to me.

Steve Kline: How okay is he, really? I would say he is pretty okay.

Re: Chill It
Now wait just a damn minute here.  "Dream Weaver" played a prominent role in Wayne's World.  Thereby...it's teh shizzzzzzznit!

Ohhhhhhh...Tia Carrere.... <growl> Daddy like!

Screw the Giants, but not Omar. I'm getting drunk and watching some footy.

Re: Chill It
Here's hoping that Raquel has so much success that Rich decides to quit and follow her fulltime on the road. There's going to be lots of male groupies in every town she appears in.
