I think he has shown he can play in the majors. It's time for him to get a legit shot at a starting OF spot.
What I like about him is not only is he hitting the ball well, but some of the defensive plays he makes are fantastic.
But even more important I think is the guy simply hustles. Like that wild pitch in today's game where the catcher was able to block it in front of him, but Linden took off and made it to 2nd without a throw. It was not that far from the catcher and I believe most runners would have stayed at 1st and not tried, but Linden read it and took off. I was impressed with that as much as anything else.
It was refreshing seeing two young players like Sanchez and Linden help the team win.
Of course helped two older players did as well. Durham with a couple homers today. I'm softening my stance on not re-signing him. If it's not a ridiculous contract, why not? And Stanton closes the game out. Thankfully don't need to go to Benitez, even when he's healthy.
