Just had to gloat for a sec here, Bomko gives up 4 runs to blow a 5-2 Dodgers lead and that's the winning score for the Cubbies, 6-5.
He was scaring me at first, actually doing well his first month in the bullpen, but I guess he finally started thinking about it further in August (and doing worse) and now has blown a save, his third blown save in the past 3 weeks, plus his 2 runs given up the other day cost ultimately cost them that game as well since they lost by only 1 run, even if he did not get a blown save for that one.
He's singlehandedly keeping the rest of the NL West in contention for the NL West title. Thank you Colletti, for believing in the time bomb! Hopefully Little will keep on believing too, for the rest of the season.
