When Dusty was around here, the complaint was that he was strategically complacent, but not an abusuve handler of starting pitchers. The one guy he appeared to abuse was Rob Nen in '02, because he apparently pitched him with a bad shoulder, but I don't hear complaining about that.
The general complaints about Felipe is that he is TOO pro-active, makes too many game changes, pitching changes, etc.. But really, what's the net effect of all this?
General managers are a ZILLION times more important towards a team's outcome than a manager, IMO.
