Isn't that a laugher?  Mr. Playboy Playmate now wants to be the closer, after getting shoved into the bullpen by Billingsley, who has a K/BB ratio under 1.0!  28 K's but 38 BB's!    

I guess he finally saw the light that he's not that good a starter and now hopes to revive the dying embers of his MLB career (and big money prospects) by becoming a closer.  Remember all the fuss he put up last year when Felipe put him in the bullpen last season?  

I was one of the posters here who thought that with his fastball he might make a decent reliever or even closer, particularly when we were closer-less and going with Walker instead.  So maybe he might succeed, but I don't think it's going to happen in LA, not with Broxton around, he's going to have to go to another team desperate for a closer, like maybe the D-backs in the off-season, he can continue his tour of the NL West.
