I Just realized. Lost amonsgt all the trade buzz (or lack there of) The Yankees acquired Craig Wilson (Someone I was talked out of hoping that the Giants would acquire) for Shawn Chacon... someone who the Last time I checked had an ERA over 7.00 and more walks than K's...So who is it that is going to tell me that we couldn't have recieved Wilson for someone like Brian Cooper and another nobody? A trade I would have rather made than shipping the guy who was supposed to be our future closer for a mediocre 1B. I'll tell you who, the kind of person who argues that the Shairon Martis (formerly one of my favorite prospects and most likely the next Francisco Liriano) for Mike Stanton trade makes sense.

Additionaly who on this site would rather see Benitez attempting to close out games rather than Accardo?

Who would want to see Shea Hillenbrand and his sparkling .230 avg and total lack of extra base hits rather than Lance Niekro who has absolutely knocked the cover off the ball since his demotion playing first base?
