How about this...

lazy fly to the outfield, but the outfielder drops it. He then picks it up and throws out the runner at the plate. Feliz would get charged with an out for the error, and there's a second out on the play, so it's a double play!

I, for one

Yeah. I don't remember if that first AB fly was up in the zone. Basically, the "sink" in that pitch seems to be more lateral than vertical. Point being, that it just has to be down at the knees to be effective, not necessarily break downwards.

True Dat. All the more reason to rest him a bit more towards game's end so he can get us off to good starts in more games started. Of course, I don't really know if an extra inning or two of rest helps him or not.

with that knee... an inning saved on defense is an inning earned later in the season is one to look at it. not that it will aggravate the injury per se..but it lessens the amount of time his mind and body have to expend energy to fight off the pain.
