You're right, the first 5 innings were tight and good, and it's not really got that feel now. I was totally digging it, even without realizing the significance, for a while. Still, the Giants of this year and the last have taught me to appreciate and remember subsets of games irrespective of what might or might not happen in the later innings.

How about this...
lazy fly to the outfield, but the outfielder drops it. He then picks it up and throws out the runner at the plate. Feliz would get charged with an out for the error, and there's a second out on the play, so it's a double play!

His groundout was much more prosaic.

Yeah. I don't remember if that first AB fly was up in the zone. Basically, the "sink" in that pitch seems to be more lateral than vertical. Point being, that it just has to be down at the knees to be effective, not necessarily break downwards.

I just got back from the game, and I read this post and the first half of it is everyone bagging on Cain. I love it.
