Giants on XM Radio?

I'll be moving to Chicago this summer and need to take the Giants broadcast booth with me. Anyone have any experience with MLB games on XM radio? Are the KNBR broadcasts always available, or does XM only broadcast one version of each game?

I've done GameDay Audio on MLB.com, but prefer a device that I can take beyond ethernet range.

Any advice appreciated.

Re: Giants on XM Radio?
I don't currently subscribe to XM radio, but my experience with it last summer with a rental car indicates that they carry only one version of the game.  I was disappointed by that.

Re: Giants on XM Radio?
They generally carry the home audio only.

Re: Giants on XM Radio?
Don't let that discourage you.  While you don't always get your favorite announcers, you are guaranteed to be able to hear any MLB game you want, including pre-season.  (The only caveat with preseason is that one of the local outlets has to be broadcasting it, so XM has a broadcast to retransmit.  Some spring training games aren't broadcast at all.)

Add in the bajillion other channels of very cool stuff, and XM is a bargain.  I've been a very happy subscriber for over a year.

Do it, do it, do it.  XM rules.

I hope some day XM will broadcast both the home and away broadcasts but it is still a great service.

It does make you realize how much better the Giants announcers are than everyone else but you can't win them all.

Re: Giants on XM Radio?
I love baseball and the Giants.  It was a tossup but I went for Sirius cause the programming's better and Howard Stern went there.  Luckily, there's other outlets for me like mlb.tv which I think I'll be starting up this season.
