Bochy nickname
I thought Wotus had more nickname possibilities but now that Bochy is the clay we've been handed, let the name moulding begin. Botchy is an obvious choice, though probably not the best, for when he screws up but (I dream on) what if we start winning?

Re: Bochy nickname
However, if our boys of summer whip through the NL and are winning we call him "Bochissimo". And by looking at your photos Goofus you DO have something - a fine lady.

Mitch Richmond was the best player in the game, but you couldn't really go wrong with Pippen and BJ Armstrong, right?

I've whittled it down to four from your list
Froggy
Cheeser
Baguette for Brains (it will help us with the transition)
Interesting you brought up the French, because I was just thinking of the Spanish:
El Bocho
This also got me to thinking about using current nicknames as a jumping off point, from where I got this, but nothing else:
Bochtanic (a la Hindenburg)
A few more, kind of lame ones, also come to mind:
The Bruce
Bruce Crotchy
Il Boccino (in this same vein: Il Pallino, Piggy, and Jack)
And then I'm a particular fan of:
¡Zardoz!

An Enormous Head required to guide our Gigantics
ZARDOZ: A name which is exhilirating and ridiculous all at once.
