When did that happen?  I was reading about the A's in the Merc on Thursday and they listed everyone and the kitchen sink as a possible #5 starter when I spied Williams' name.

If they can get Foppert plus go after Ainsworth, then they would have what some Giants fans would have thought was our future long-term rotation at one point in time:  Ainsworth, Williams, and Foppert...

Maybe that'll be the key for Williams, as AT&T Mays Field has all that great food to eat there, making Jerome gain weight, whereas now he'll be eating at the Oakland Coliseum...

I guess the A's were just dazzled by that, what, 2-hitter he threw at them oh so long ago...
