I like collecting Fanfest stories from anywhere I can get them, since I generally live too far away to be able to find my way to any of them. I was wondering if anyone had some fun stories or pictures from the day that they might be willing to share.

i live in sacramento . me my wive and 13 month old son went. we got there at 1230. it was too late, all the coupons to get autographs were all handed out. so basically we drove all the way out there just to look. i wanted to meet kruk &kuip the most. they have 3 sessions about an hour apart and each time about 8-10 players/coaces come out. but no coupon no autograph. that wasnt gonna stop my girl from seein noah lowry. she bump her way up to the front, asked mr lowry to smile, he obliged,and we got a front row made to order photo, needless to say getting her away from that is impossible.
next year we know to get there early.and leave late. i would post a few photos but dont know how.

I was wary of even dealing with muni hassles to get there only to be stuck in a crowd and see nothing. goofus confirmed my suspicions and i stayed home and listened to it on the radio. thank you goofus--you saved me from going giants postal.

My pleasure, I think. I certainly wasn't trying to talk anyone out of going, just attempting to give folks an idea of what to expect.

As a tip to everyone, Friday night's "Winter Meeting" for season-ticket holders was probably a much better chance to meet players and get autographs. If they do it again next year and you know any season-ticket holders not going, try to get their tickets.
