There's a great piece about the relievers over at El Lefty Malo.  Not being familiar with a whole bunch of poetry, I couldn't tell you if it was written the style of a sonnet or couplet.  I can say with some authority, however, it is not a limerick or a Steve Miller song.

Reading El Lefty Malo as he switches gears and drops some poetry like that must be like watching John Burkett bowl a 300 game.  Something like that, anyways.
